This Privacy Policy describes how Savera Continental Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"), developer and operator of the Sogii mobile application (the "App"), collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our App and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

01Who We Are

02Your Data — Local-First by Default

Important: If you use the App without creating an account, all of your data — resolutions, habits, progress, streaks — remains entirely on your device and your device only. We cannot access, view, or collect any of your personal information in this mode. Your data never leaves your device.

Account creation is entirely optional and is only required if you wish to use optional features such as cross-device sync or cloud backup.

03Information We Collect (Account Users Only)

The following is only collected if you voluntarily create an account:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and password (stored securely in hashed form).
  • Synced App Data: Resolutions, habits, progress records, and streak data — only if you enable cloud sync.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique identifiers, IP address, and mobile network information (used for security and abuse prevention).
  • Notification Preferences: Your push notification and reminder settings.
  • Analytics Data: Anonymous crash reports and performance data to improve the Service.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health records, financial information, or government-issued ID numbers.

04How We Use Your Information

For account holders, we use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • Personalise your experience and deliver features such as progress tracking, notifications, and featured quotes;
  • Communicate with you about updates, new features, and support inquiries;
  • Analyse usage patterns and improve the performance, security, and quality of the App;
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

05Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted vendors who assist us in operating the App (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting). They are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Savera Continental Ltd., our users, or others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

06Data Retention

For users without an account, no data is retained by us — ever. For account holders, we retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time within the App settings, after which we will delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

07Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Data portability;
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. Non-account users have complete local control and may delete all their data at any time by uninstalling the App.

08Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete such information.

09Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including TLS/SSL encryption in transit and encryption at rest for account data. For non-account users, data is fully local and subject to your device's own protections. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security for transmitted data.

10Push Notifications

With your consent, we may send push notifications to your device. You may opt out at any time via your device's notification settings or within the App. Notification preferences for non-account users are stored locally only.

11International Data Transfers

For account holders, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). Non-account user data is never transferred internationally, as it never leaves your device.

12California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, or disclose; the right to request deletion; and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 13European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal compliance. You have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Non-account user data is processed locally only and is not subject to cross-border transfer obligations.

14Apple & Google Platform Compliance

This Privacy Policy complies with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, Apple's App Privacy requirements, and Apple's Standard EULA (available at apple.com/legal/…/minterms), and Google Play's Developer Program Policies and Families Policy requirements. We adhere to Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. We do not use IDFA/GAID for cross-app tracking without explicit consent. Any data collected through platform APIs is used solely as permitted by those platforms.

15Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last Updated' date and notify you through the App or by email where required by law. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
